Nikki Blacksmith, Ph.D.

Co-Founder & CEO

Nikki Blacksmith is Co-Founder and CEO of Symeta Behavior Science and an adjunct faculty member at American University and Illinois Institute of Technology . She has nearly 20 years of experience as a scientist-practitioner of organizational psychology. She formerly worked at Gallup where she built psychometric assessments, consulted with Fortune 500 companies, and led the research and development practice. She works with venture capitalists and entrepreneurs to predict future success, build high-performing teams, and institute cultures of behavioral change with data-driven methods. During her Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Army Research Institute, she conducted research on decision-making and cognitive bias. She has published over 70 different conference papers, book chapters, and journal articles including American Psychologist. She co-edited the book Data-Driven Decision Making in Entrepreneurship: Tools for Maximizing Human Capital. Nikki received her M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, her Ph.D. from George Washington University. Currently, she serves on the board of directors for Sembramos, a nonprofit dedicated to building diverse and inclusive organizations. She is also on the executive board of the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP).

Dane Wagner, MS, MBA

Co-Founder & CPO

In addition to being a 2x exited founder, and now co-founder and CPO (Chief Product Officer) of Symeta Behavior Science, Dane has over a decade of experience in data analytics and UX research at the enterprise level. He has contributed to industry research on topics such as loss prevention, behavior modification, employee satisfaction, designing for neuro-divergency and client memory/ cognitive processes. Dane’s passions lie in the integration of modern technology to standardize qualitative research, bridging the science practitioner gap through applied technologies education, and improving employee experience models for smaller organizations and businesses. He holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh and masters in I/O Psychology from Florida International University where he is still active as an adjunct faculty member within the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education as well as the College of Technology and Computer Science.

Stacey Force

Stacey is a results-driven marketing executive with 20+ years of experience driving impactful strategies and fostering innovation within the B2B landscape. As Chief Marketing Officer of Symeta Behavior Science, Stacey leads the go-to-market strategy for a category-defining solution at the intersection of behavioral science and business performance. She also serves as a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer with The Marketing Blender, providing executive leadership and strategy to help organizations build a system for predictable, sustainable growth. Throughout her career, Stacey has successfully driven growth initiatives for marquee brands including Korn Ferry, ManpowerGroup, Honeywell, NEC, Philips, Verizon Wireless/Ameritech Cellular and Edelman Public Relations. Her expertise lies in strategic planning and translating market needs into impactful product solutions and marketing strategies, to ensure stakeholder needs are met. A technology enthusiast and polymath, Stacey has spent her career working to enable more efficient business practices through the integration of data and emerging technologies, making her work with Symeta a natural evolution: bringing the science of human behavior to the teams building what's next.

Disney Davila, MS

COO

Disniel serves as the Client Relations Manager for Blackhawke Behavior Science. In this capacity, he dedicates himself to driving initiatives that not only elevate customer experiences but also enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization. His passion lies in the realm of learning and development, where he actively engages in fostering the growth of professionals. By identifying opportunities for learning and skill development, he plays a pivotal role in nurturing talent and facilitating their advancement. He takes pride in leading training programs tailored to the specific needs of professionals, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in their roles. Disniel's unwavering commitment to continuous improvement is deeply ingrained, with a steadfast dedication to staying abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and innovative technologies. He holds an M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and is a Certified Project Manager (PMP) and DDI Facilitator.
